The deadline to support our Capital Outlay Request is Feb. 3! Here’s how you can help.
Since assuming operations of two historic National Guard armory facilities in 1983, the CCA has produced countless exhibitions, performances, festivals, and educational programs, as well as having screened thousands of films from around the world.
In those four decades, we’ve seen over two million patrons frequenting our gallery and cinema spaces. All of this activity requires significant infrastructure maintenance. For 2023, $1.485 million is needed to continue renovations and improvements to the facilities and ADA accessibility.
As a patron and supporter of CCA, we’re calling upon you to help us obtain the necessary funds we have requested. From today until February 3, you can make an impact on the future of CCA by contacting New Mexico legislators by email or phone call.

The CCA needs your help to fully fund this year’s Capital Outlay request of $1.485 million. The funds for Web ID: 3018 will be used to renovate the HVAC in the buildings, update electrical, improve ADA accessibility in CCA’s theater spaces, and make safety and security updates. These improvements are critical to protect and preserve one of the Southwest’s oldest contemporary art centers, and a longstanding local gem.
