Thinking about applying for the inaugural Santa Fe Fringe Festival? We would love to hear from you! Below is just some of what we think you would need to know.
What are we looking for?
All kinds of no tech performances – short play, reading, stand-up comedy routine, dance piece, burlesque performance, monologue, spoken-word, music, or anything in between we would love to give you a space to perform!
What’s expected of you?
1. You are responsible for all aspects of producing your show. This includes (but necessarily limited to) the script, the creative team, design elements, supplemental marketing materials.
2. Speaking of marketing, while CCA will market the festival as a whole, we will rely on our performers to help market your performance through your own posters, social media, etc.
3. You are responsible for your own travel and lodging.
4. All selected performers must submit a photo/graphic and promotional copy.
What does CCA provide?
1. The venue: all performances will take place in CCA’s Munoz Waxman Gallery.
2. Three performances over one weekend
3. Front of house and ticketing.
4. One 2 hour rehearsal in the space.
5. Joint marketing.
6. The opportunity to participate in our “Best of Fringe” which gives 2 acts another performance on Monday, August 10, 2026.
7. Piano, microphone and sound system
What does “no tech” mean?
1. Pieces will be performed without access to lighting. Pre recorded music can be played through the sound system.
What Performers Need to Know:
1. All performances must be between 45-60 minutes long with no intermission
2. You will have access to the performance space 30 minutes prior to your performance and have 15 minutes for any necessary set up.
3. Selected performers will be given 3 performance spots in either the first or second weekend of the festival. You will receive your performance times no later than June 12th.
4. There will be limited storage space at the venue if you need to leave items.
5. There is no fee to apply. Performers will receive half of the box office receipts after the first $250. Tickets will cost $20 in advance ($18 CCA members) and $25 at the door ($22 CCA members).
How Will “Best of” be selected?
Audiences will be able to provide feedback on the performances, from which the “best of” will be selected.
