Field and Frame
(David Nelson)

Keif: David Nelson had to rent this from the Houston Museum of Arts. Maybe it was a little expensive, maybe a little bit of a hassle with shipping and everything like that.  I remember it being fairly well attended. I feel like you were there, Bryan?

Bryan: It seems to me that might’ve been a show where bootleg copies of Cocksucker Blues were being passed around. And that was,of course, the Robert Frank documentary of a Rolling Stones tour where this stuff got out of control with drugs, alcohol, and it seems to me that it was Mick Jagger who put the kibosh on him screening the film.

Keif: I don’t know if that’s true, but I liked that.  Let’s say it’s true. Mostly true, as my friend the filmmaker Bill Daniel would say.
