Alphaville Video
(Keif Henley)

Keif: I worked at Alphaville Video at that time and. It was like an open screen. It was free. I think we took donations maybe. There was no curatorial prowess there. It kind of was like an open poetry night, but it was organized. You had to get there to sign up beforehand basically. I remember calling people to say, Hey, we’ve got your film, we’re going to show it at a certain time to all your friends. So it was well attended for all the obvious reasons. It was a way of supporting filmmaking locally that’s different from Hollywood standards.
