Boderra Joe is from Bááhazł’ah (Twin Lakes), New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation. She is Diné of the Bit’ahnii (Folded Arms Clan), born for the Tabááha (Water’s Edge Clan). She is a poet, journalist and a photographer. Her work has appeared in the Tribal College JournalYellow Medicine ReviewIndigenous Goddess GangMass Poetry and Keshmish Knitting from the Rez. She holds an MFA and BFA from the Institute of American Indian Arts. She is a member of the Emerging Diné Writers’ Institute. And a fellow recipient of the Bosque Redondo Memorial Artists in Their Residence Fellowship.
