Maria Gale was born in the Cleveland area, but has been in New Mexico for over 20 years and considers it her “forever home.”
Her undergraduate degree was from Princeton University and she completed her graduate work at Case Western Reserve University. After a decade plus of working as a medical social worker, Maria focused her energies on her children and family. She has re-emerged as the kids have become teens to once again focus on serving the community. In addition to her seat on the Board of Trustees at CCA, Maria is a member of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation Board of Trustees and serves on Advisory Board of the Santa Fe Mountain Center.
