The spector ripps project space, named after a generous contribution by Steven Spector and Robert Ripps, emphasizes CCA's devotion to the creation, presentation, interpretation and dissemination of the work of innovative artists in all media, fostering creativity and uninhibited exploration within the community. Located in CCA's current Lobby Gallery, the exhibitions will be three weeks in duration.

Forest, a new installation by Debbie Long, is a forest of freestanding cast wax “trees” made from stacks of massive tree stumps, car parts, and other detritus the artist finds near her home. Part of the installation Forest will be created on-site at CCA.

Forever Magic is the latest project by New Mexico—based conceptual artist Sheilah Wilson after returning from a residency at New Pacific Studio in Masterton, New Zealand. Wilson investigates the human desire for transcendence through art that playfully and humorously articulates this struggle.
